My lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer changed in high school when I realized that my true talent lies in mathematical sciences. I learned that the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is one of the most difficult and profitable and that’s how I chose my career. ๐ I completed my undergraduate and master’s studies at the Department of Telecommunications and Information Technologies.
At JobFair three years ago, I left my CV, and a few months later I got a call from Avisto about a DevOps Internship and the position matched my wishes: working in the IT sector, but not completely as a developer and not completely as a system administrator. ๐ย ย
As a DevOps Engineer, there are a lot of tools you can learn and a lot of paths you can take, so it’s never monotonous and boring. The fun part is that you are the glue of the project that works with a lot of different teams and cooperates with developers, testers, managers, etc. The less fun part is that everybody calls you when something is wrong ๐ But, we chose a life full of challenges! ๐ย ย
Another very important thing at work is to have a good mentor, fun colleagues, a good atmosphere, and some hobbies during the break (darts of course). Fortunately, I found all these things in one place at my first job.ย
